Happiness House: Creating an identity for a wellbeing platform that gives people access to a safe space online where they feel like they truly belong.

Happiness House is a wellbeing platform based in Germany that gives people access to a safe space online where they feel like they truly belong. A place where they can be their truest, most authentic selves. They are one of the only German-speaking brands in the education and personal development space and use evidence-based practical tools and education with a spiritual delicateness and delivery.

Happiness House was founded in 2016 by Pierre Franckh and Michaela Merten. Pierre is a best-selling author in Germany, writing about subjects such as: love & relationships, money mindset and the law of reason. Michaela is known for her work in similar areas, as well as meditation and inner child work and her retreats.

They believe that everyone can have a seat at their table and are building a world where people will always belong, no matter what. Happiness House empower people to find their own happiness, step into their power and discover true self acceptance.

Happiness House are a community that helps people to feel seen, heard and understood in a world that so often ignores, mutes and misunderstands. They help people step into their own happiness by providing education, resources and community under their digital space where everyone is welcome.

I worked with Happiness House to refresh their brand identity to better reflect the needs of their niche audiences and to bring more of a fun and playful feel to the look and feel of the brand.

I guided them through a process to uncover what it was that makes them unique, how they help people become their most authentic selves and what their brand personality was.

All of this resulted in a brand refresh that was fun, playful and helped them to feel more modern and in-line with their audiences.

The brand guidelines were a key deliverable in this project - they needed to be flexible and accessible to a diverse team that was geographically split within Europe. The detailed guidelines meant that their remote team of developers were able to take the brand and apply it to the platform re-built - they formed an integral part of the brand roll out for Happiness House.
